Residents in Cyprus, Jordan and Egypt also reported feeling an earthquake.
Residents in the center and south of Israel reported feeling a minor earthquake on Wednesday night, according to Maariv. No injuries or damage have been reported as of yet.
“The whole house shook,” Asaf, a resident of Be’er Yaakov told Maariv.
Residents of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Beersheba also reported feeling the quake.
Reports on Twitter are placing the epicenter of the quake off the coast of Israel and claiming that it was 4.6 on the Richter scale.
Residents in Cyprus, Jordan and Egypt also reported feeling an earthquake, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The EMSC placed the epicenter at 157 km north of Port Said, Egypt.
An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale was felt in western Greece and another quake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale was felt in Yemen, according to Maariv.
